Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CheekyBell (the "App", "Service"). In these terms, "we", "us", and "our" mean the Service provider identified in section 14. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to use CheekyBell. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that your use of the Service complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

2. Your account

  • Provide accurate information when creating an account. Choose a strong password (at least 12 characters).
  • You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us at support@cheekybell.com immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent.

3. Acceptable use

CheekyBell is intended for consenting adult couples to communicate intimately. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to harass, threaten, defame, or stalk another person.
  • Send content depicting minors in any sexual context. Such content is illegal and we will report it to authorities.
  • Send non-consensual intimate imagery ("revenge porn"), spam, malware, or unlawful content.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, scrape data, reverse-engineer the Service, or interfere with its security.
  • Use Belle to seek sexual content involving minors, content that facilitates harm or illegal acts, or try to bypass Belle's safety rules or usage limits (for example with prompt injection).
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice when necessary to protect users or comply with the law.

Use the message safety menu to report content, block a user, stop an interaction, or contact support. We prioritize reports based on their severity but do not promise an emergency-response time. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services; CheekyBell is not an emergency service.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you create or upload (chat messages, bell customization, fertility data, photos). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and transmit your content solely as needed to operate the features you use. We do not use your intimate content to train ML models or for advertising.

You are responsible for the legality of content you submit. You represent that you have all rights necessary to upload and share it.

Reports store a content reference and your selected reason, not a second copy of the reported private content. We may restrict or remove referenced content after review.

5. Solo mode and partner pairing

  • Solo mode lets you use CheekyBell with your account but without a partner. The core app is free; some features need a partner or a paid plan.
  • Partner pairing requires mutual consent. Either partner may unpair at any time; pairing data is preserved with an "ended" status until manually deleted.

6. Subscriptions and in-app purchases

Where an in-app purchase or subscription is available, the purchase screen, applicable Apple or Google terms, and this section disclose the price, renewal, cancellation, refund, and entitlement rules before purchase. Cancelling a subscription is handled through the platform account that processed it; deleting a CheekyBell account does not by itself cancel that subscription.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, push updates, or restrict features as needed for security, performance, or compliance.

8. Privacy

Our handling of your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, abuse the Service, or if required by law. On termination, your data is removed in line with the retention table in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

The fertility tracking, AI companion, and similar features are informational only. They are not medical advice, and fertility tracking is not a contraceptive method: do not use it to prevent pregnancy. Consult a qualified professional for medical, legal, or psychological matters.

Belle AI companion. Belle is an AI, not a person. Her replies are generated automatically by a third-party AI service described in the Privacy Policy and may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable; do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial or emergency decisions. Belle is not an emergency service. Belle uses your own Fertility Calendar only if you explicitly allow it. Belle replies are limited by the allowance of your trial or plan shown in the app. To keep Belle safe and available we may change the AI provider or model, adjust allowances, or pause Belle. You can report a Belle reply from its message menu.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the CheekyBell Service provider identified in section 14 shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app and by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Budapest, Hungary, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
